Dust, continuously

The Bosch BMV080 reads PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 optically. There is no fan, so nothing clogs in a dust-loaded roadway.

Concentration only. Silica and diesel particulate are not separately identified.

Heat and air, at the breathing zone

The BME688 reads gas response, temperature, humidity and pressure where the worker is, rather than at a fixed post across the pit.

Strain, on contact

A module behind the suspension carries an optical front end with skin temperature and local humidity. Movement context comes from the BHI380.

Skin temperature, not core body temperature. Heart rate is derived in software and still needs validating in movement.

Sensor selection is a working hypothesis. Bench comparison against reference instruments is the next test, not a completed result.
